Jump for Joy: Bouncy Castle. Spotlight on the Permanent Collection is a rotating exhibition of highlighted selections from the archives, including works of art, photography, technological inventions and historical ephemera. Spotlight now features “Jump for Joy,” a moonbounce made of giant, over-sized breasts by Bompas and Parr from the acclaimed exhibit Funland: Pleasures & Perils of the Erotic Fairground. “Jump for Joy” is designed to increase awareness of the body and to create the thrilling possibility of physical contact between strangers. The energy of the inflatable promotes a rush of endorphins – many of which are the same as those released at the point of orgasm.
